If you are driving from Novohrad, start by heading northwest on local roads towards Bratislava. Use the E571 highway, following the signs for Bratislava. Once you reach Bratislava, continue towards the city center. From there, follow signs for Devín. The castle is located at 10, Muránská 1050, 841 10 Bratislava-Devín. There is parking available near the castle, but be mindful of parking fees which may apply.
Public Transportation
Begin by taking a train or bus from Novohrad to Bratislava. Trains may offer a direct route to Bratislava main station. Once in Bratislava, take tram number 4 or 5 towards Devín. Get off at the 'Devín' stop, which is close to the castle. From there, it's a short walk to Hrad Devín. Make sure to check the schedule for trains and trams, as they may vary on weekends. The cost for the train or bus ticket will depend on the distance, typically around €5-€10.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Novohrad and cycle towards Bratislava. There are designated bike paths along the route. Once you arrive in Bratislava, follow the bike paths to Devín, which is approximately a 15 km ride. Upon reaching the area, you can park your bike at designated bike racks near the castle entrance. Remember to bring a lock for your bike, and check if there are any fees for bike parking.

If you are staying nearby in a local accommodation, you can opt to walk to Hrad Devín. The walk offers beautiful views and a chance to explore the surrounding nature.
