Getting There

• Car

  From Besenova Thermal Park, head southeast on the main road (Route 18) towards Liptovský Mikuláš. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit toward the village of Prosiek. Continue driving until you reach the center of Prosiek, where you can park your car in designated areas. From the parking area, you will need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes to reach the Vodopád v doline Červené Piesky. Follow the trail signs leading into the valley, and listen for the sound of the waterfall as you approach.

• Public Transportation

  From Besenova Thermal Park, take a bus towards Liptovský Mikuláš. You will need to get off at the stop for Prosiek. Buses typically run every hour, so check the local schedule for exact times. Once you arrive in Prosiek, you will need to walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the Vodopád v doline Červené Piesky. Look for signs directing you into the valley. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Prosiek, you can walk directly to Vodopád v doline Červené Piesky. Start at the center of the village, and follow the marked trails heading into the valley. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will pass through beautiful scenery along the way. Be mindful of the trail conditions and make sure to have appropriate footwear for outdoor walking.
