Car
If you are driving from the center of Pieniny National Park, head towards the town of Červený Kláštor. From Červený Kláštor, take the main road (E77) heading south towards Bratislava. After approximately 40 km, you will reach the exit for Devín (Exit 5). Follow the signs to Devín. Once in the village, park at the designated parking area near the castle. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €2-€5 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Hrad Devín via public transportation, start at the nearest bus station in Pieniny National Park, such as in Červený Kláštor. Take a bus towards Bratislava. Buses frequently run along this route, but be sure to check the latest schedule. Get off at the Devín stop, which is close to the castle. The bus fare is usually around €3-€5. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Hrad Devín, following the signs pointing to the castle.
Walking
If you are near Devín village and prefer to walk, you can hike from the Devín bus stop to Hrad Devín. The walk is approximately 1 km and will take around 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs through the village, and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. The path is well marked and takes you directly to the entrance of the castle.
