Public Transport
From the center of Poprad, head to the Poprad-Tatry train station. You can walk there in about 15 minutes by following Hlavná street towards the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Zakopane. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Zakopane train station, exit and take a local bus or taxi towards the center of Zakopane. The destination, Kotelnica, is located about 3 kilometers from the train station. Look for bus line 11, which will take you closer to your destination.
Walking
If you are already near the center of Zakopane, Kotelnica is accessible by walking from various local hotels. From the main square (Krupówki street), head southwest along Krupówki until you reach the intersection with ul. Kościeliska. Turn left and continue on Kościeliska. Follow the signs for Kotelnica, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the main square.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Poprad to Zakopane. Taxi services are available at the Poprad-Tatry train station or can be booked via local apps. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
