Bus
From Poprad's main bus station (Autobusová stanica Poprad), take a bus heading to the town of Červený Kláštor. Buses run regularly, typically every hour. Make sure to check the schedule at the station or online. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Červený Kláštor, look for signs directing you to Pieniny National Park, which is located nearby.
Train and Walk
From Poprad's main train station (Železničná stanica Poprad), take a train towards the town of Spišská Nová Ves. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the station of Krompachy. From Krompachy, you can either take a taxi to Pieniny National Park or walk for about 1.5 hours following signs towards the park.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Poprad directly to Pieniny National Park. Simply ask your hotel or use a local taxi app. The drive should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Poprad. You can find rental shops near the main square or train station. Cycle along the scenic routes towards Pieniny National Park, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. There are dedicated bike paths, and the ride should take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your speed.
