Train
From Poprad, head to the Poprad-Tatry train station. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Spišská Nová Ves. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Spišská Nová Ves, you will need to transfer to a bus heading towards Žehra, where Spiš Castle is located.
Bus
After arriving at Spišská Nová Ves train station, locate the bus stop outside the station. Take the bus that is heading towards Žehra. The bus ride is about 20 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Spiš Castle.
Walking
Once you arrive at the bus stop in Žehra, walk towards the castle. Follow the signs pointing to Spiš Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The path will lead you up a gentle hill, offering beautiful views of the surrounding area as you approach the castle.
