    Bus

    From the center of Poprad, walk to the Poprad-Tatry bus station, which is located at Staničná 1. Once there, purchase a ticket for a bus heading towards the Tatra Mountains. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tatra Mountains stop, you will find yourself in close proximity to various trails and scenic viewpoints. Follow the signs to your chosen hiking path.

    Train

    Head to the Poprad-Tatry train station located at Námestie sv. Egídia 1. You can walk there from the city center, which takes about 10-15 minutes. At the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading to the Tatra Mountains. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the 'Tatranská Lomnica' station, which is one of the main access points to the Tatra Mountains. From there, follow the signs to the hiking trails or visitor center.

    Walking

    If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can start walking towards the Tatra Mountains directly. From the center of Poprad, head towards the north along the main road, following the signs towards Tatranská Lomnica. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers, so it will take you a couple of hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, and once you reach Tatranská Lomnica, you can access the hiking trails leading into the Tatra Mountains.
