Bus

To get to Szczawnica from Poprad, start by taking the local bus from the Poprad main bus station (Autobusová stanica Poprad). Look for buses heading towards 'Szczawnica' or 'Krynica-Zdrój'. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Szczawnica bus station, you will be in the center of the town and can easily explore the area on foot.

Train and Bus

From Poprad, take a train from Poprad Tatry station to the nearest train station to Szczawnica, which is in Nowy Targ. After reaching Nowy Targ, exit the train and find the local bus stop outside the train station. Board a bus that goes to Szczawnica. The entire trip may take around 2 hours, including the train and bus transfer. Make sure to check the train schedule in advance to plan your journey effectively.

Walking

While walking directly from Poprad to Szczawnica is not practical due to the distance (approximately 25 km), if you are already in Szczawnica and want to explore the town, you can walk to various attractions within the area.
