Car

If you are driving from Strbske Pleso, head southeast on the main road (Hlavná ulica) towards the town of Tatranská Štrba. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, you'll reach the junction for the road leading to the parking area for Vyšné Furkotské pleso. Turn left onto the road leading to the Hrebienok parking area. From the parking lot, you can follow the marked hiking trails that lead to Vyšné Furkotské pleso, which will take around 2 hours of hiking.
Public Transportation

To reach Vyšné Furkotské pleso using public transportation, take a bus from Strbske Pleso to Tatranská Štrba. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Tatranská Štrba, transfer to a local bus that goes to Hrebienok. After reaching Hrebienok, you will need to follow the marked hiking trails leading to Vyšné Furkotské pleso, which is approximately a 2-hour hike.
