Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Trenčín city center and head towards the D1 highway. Merge onto the D1 highway towards Žilina. After approximately 15 km, take the exit towards Nové Mesto nad Váhom / Považská Bystrica (Exit 123). Follow the signs for Považská Bystrica (Route 61) and continue for about 10 km. At the junction for Súľov, take a right turn onto the local road leading to Súľov-Hradná. The castle will be signposted. You can park in designated areas near the castle entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Castle Súľov by public transportation, take a train from Trenčín to Považská Bystrica. The journey takes about 30 minutes. From Považská Bystrica, you can catch a bus towards Súľov-Hradná. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Súľov-Hradná, follow the signs leading to the castle, which is a short 10-15 minute walk uphill.
Walking
If you are already in Súľov-Hradná, from the local bus stop, walk towards the main road and follow the signs to Castle Súľov. The path is well-marked, and you will pass through beautiful countryside. The walk takes about 15 minutes, and the path is moderately steep, so wear comfortable shoes.
