Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Trnava city center. Head southeast on Hlavná ulica towards the Nitra road (E75). After approximately 10 minutes, follow signs for Smolenice/Trnava - Bratislava (E575). Continue on E575 until you reach the exit for Smolenice. Follow the road signs leading you into Smolenice village. Once in the village, look for Zámocká street; the castle is located at Zámocká 18, 919 04 Smolenice. Parking is available near the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Smolenice castle by public transport, take a train from Trnava train station to the nearby village of Smolenice. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Smolenice train station, exit the station and walk towards the center of the village. Follow Zámocká street for about 15 minutes, and you will reach the castle located at Zámocká 18, 919 04 Smolenice. Make sure to check the train schedules in advance, as they may vary. A train ticket costs approximately €1-2.
