Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the main square of Trnava, Hlavná ulica. Head northwest towards the intersection with Špitálska. Turn left onto Špitálska and continue straight until you reach the bus station, Autobusová stanica Trnava. From the bus station, take a bus towards Smolenice. Buses are often labeled Smolenice or Smolenický zámok. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Smolenice, exit the bus and walk towards Zámocká street. Follow Zámocká street for about 10 minutes until you see Smolenický castle on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Trnava. Start from the main square and cycle northwest towards Špitálska street. Continue on this route until you reach the bus station. From there, you will find a bike-friendly path leading directly to Smolenice. The route is approximately 12 km and should take about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive in Smolenice, head to Zámocká street and follow it to reach Smolenický castle.

    From Trnava, go to the main bus station, Autobusová stanica Trnava. Look for buses heading towards Smolenice.
