Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Trnava, head towards Hlavná ulica (Main Street). Walk straight down Hlavná ulica until you reach the intersection with Špitálska ulica. Turn left onto Špitálska ulica and continue straight. You will pass by various shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout and take the first exit onto Štefánikova ulica. After a short walk, you will find Barbakan at Štefánikova 11 on your left.

• Public Transport

  From the Trnava Bus Station, take bus number 7 in the direction of 'Zelený Kríčok'. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop 'Nám. J. H. Kráľa'. From the bus stop, walk straight down Trnavská ulica until it merges into Hlavná ulica. Continue walking on Hlavná ulica until you reach the intersection with Špitálska ulica. Turn left onto Špitálska ulica and continue straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the roundabout. Continue through the roundabout and take the first exit onto Štefánikova ulica. Barbakan is located at Štefánikova 11, just a short walk down the street.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle in Trnava, start from the city center and head towards Hlavná ulica. Follow Hlavná ulica straight and take a right onto Špitálska ulica. Continue on Špitálska for about 1.5 kilometers. You will reach a roundabout; go straight through the roundabout and take the first exit onto Štefánikova ulica. Barbakan will be on your left at Štefánikova 11. Make sure to use the bike lanes where available for a safer ride.
