Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Malacky. Head northeast on Hlavná towards Smetanova. Continue straight for about 1.5 km, then take the exit onto the D2 highway in the direction of Bratislava. After about 5 km, take exit 1 towards Malacky/Skalica. Follow the signs for Malacky, then take the first left onto Šranecká road. After about 1 km, you will see the entrance to Šranecké piesky on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transport
To reach Šranecké piesky via public transport, start at Malacky bus station. Take bus number 300 in the direction of Záhorská Bystrica. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Šranecké piesky.' From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the entrance of the wildlife refuge.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Šranecké piesky, you can reach it by walking from nearby areas. From the Malacky center, it’s approximately a 30-minute walk. Head northeast on Hlavná street, then continue straight until you reach Šranecká road. Turn left and follow the road for about 1 km until you see the entrance on your right.
