If you are driving from the main area of Zemplínska Šírava, head south towards the town of Michalovce. Follow the signs for Michalovce until you reach the intersection near the Michalovce train station. From there, take the road toward Stráňany. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. As you enter Stráňany, look for Doktora Vlada Clemetisa street, where Stráňansky rybník is located. The lake will be on your left.
