If you are driving from Žilina, take Route 18 (E442) towards Ružomberok. After approximately 26 km, take the exit toward the town of Liptovský Mikuláš and continue on the road until you reach the entrance to Veľká Fatra National Park. There are multiple access points; the most popular ones are located near the villages of Terchová and Vlkolínec. Ensure you have a GPS or map for accurate navigation.

Begin your journey at Žilina Railway Station. Take a train heading to Liptovský Mikuláš. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Liptovský Mikuláš, transfer to a local bus (Bus No. 20 or 21) that goes to the village of Terchová. This bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. From Terchová, you can access hiking trails that lead into Veľká Fatra National Park.
