Bus
From Bled, head to the Bled Bus Station, which is located near the main promenade by Lake Bled. Take a bus towards Ljubljana and get off at the Idrija stop. Once you arrive in Idrija, walk towards Prelovčeva ulica. Grad Gewerknegg is located on Prelovčeva ulica 9, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Train and Bus
From Bled, walk to the Bled Jezero Train Station, which is about a 30-minute walk from the lake. Take a train to the closest station to Idrija (you may need to transfer at a larger station, such as Lesce-Bled). After reaching the nearest station, take a local bus towards Idrija. Get off at the Idrija stop and proceed to walk to Prelovčeva ulica 9, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you're looking for a more direct route, you can book a taxi or rideshare from Bled to Grad Gewerknegg in Idrija. Simply ask the driver to take you to Prelovčeva ulica 9, 5280 Idrija. This option will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking from Idrija Center
If you are already in the center of Idrija, you can easily walk to Grad Gewerknegg. Start at the main square in Idrija, and head towards Prelovčeva ulica. Follow the street signs leading you towards Prelovčeva ulica 9, which is where the museum is located. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes.
