Vogel Ski Resort: A Winter Wonderland Overlooking Bohinj Lake

Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Bled, walk to the Bled bus station, which is located near the main street. You can ask locals for directions if needed. Once at the bus station, catch a bus heading towards Bohinj. The bus ride to Ukanc will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to tell the bus driver your destination and listen for announcements or watch for signs indicating Ukanc. Once you arrive at the Ukanc stop, you will be just a short walk away from Vogel Ski Resort.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Bled. You can ask your hotel reception to call a taxi for you, or find one at designated taxi stands in Bled. Provide the driver with the address Ukanc 6, 4265 Bohinjsko jezero. The ride will take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic, and you'll be dropped off right at the resort entrance.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from the center of Bled and head towards Bohinj. This is a longer trek, approximately 6 kilometers, which will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs towards Bohinj and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the Bohinj area, look for signs leading to Ukanc. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this route can be a bit challenging.
