Starting from the center of Bled, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of the Bled Island. You will see the lake on your right and the stunning views of the castle on your left. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. From there, you can hire a traditional 'pletna' boat, which will take you directly to Bled Island, where the Assumption of Maria Church is located.

Once you reach the boat dock at the end of the promenade, look for the pletna boat service. Purchase a ticket from the operator, and board the boat. The boat ride takes about 20 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views of the island and the surrounding mountains during the ride. Upon arrival at Bled Island, disembark and walk towards the Assumption of Maria Church, which is a short distance from the dock.
