Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the center of Bled, head towards the main road, Cesta svobode. Walk towards the Bled Island, and look for the signs directing you to Grajska cesta. Continue along this road, which is uphill and will take you directly to Bled Castle. The walk takes approximately 20 minutes and offers beautiful views of Lake Bled along the way.

From there, you will see a sign for Grajska cesta. Ascend this road, which is steep but well-paved, leading you directly to Bled Castle. The hike will take about 15-25 minutes depending on your pace.

While Bled is a small town and most attractions are within walking distance, you can take a local bus to the nearest bus stop on Cesta svobode.
