Bus
From Bohinj, head to the nearest bus stop. Depending on your location, you can catch a bus from either the Bohinjska Bistrica bus station or the bus stop at Lake Bohinj. Look for the bus heading towards Kranjska Gora. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and buses run frequently. Once you arrive in Kranjska Gora, the main square is a short walk from the bus stop, where you can find signs directing you to various attractions.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Bohinj. Start your ride towards the direction of the main road leading out of Bohinj, following the signs for Kranjska Gora. The cycling path is well-marked and offers beautiful views along the way. The distance is about 18 km, and it should take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Upon arriving in Kranjska Gora, park your bicycle at designated areas near the main attractions.
Walking
For the adventurous, walking to Kranjska Gora is an option if you enjoy hiking. Begin your journey from the Bohinj Lake area, following the scenic trails that lead towards the mountains. This route may take approximately 4-5 hours, so be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water. The trails are well-marked, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Julian Alps as you make your way to Kranjska Gora.
