  • Bus

    From Bohinj, head to the main bus station in Bohinjska Bistrica. You can take the local bus that connects Bohinj to Ljubljana. Make sure to check the schedule, as buses run several times a day. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. You can follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Head towards Trg Osvobodilne Fronte and continue straight until you reach the main pedestrian street, Čopova ulica. Turn right and follow the street until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river using any of the bridges, and then walk straight along the river until you see Gosposka ulica on your left. The Ljubljana City Museum will be on your left at Gosposka ulica 15.

  • Train

    Take a train from Bohinj to Ljubljana. The closest train station is in Lesce-Bled. From Bohinj, you can take a local bus or taxi to Lesce-Bled train station. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana train station, exit and head towards the main square, Prešeren Square. From the square, walk along the riverbank, cross the Triple Bridge, and continue straight to reach the pedestrian street, Čopova ulica. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Gosposka ulica. Turn left onto Gosposka ulica, and the Ljubljana City Museum will be located at number 15.

    If you are staying in the center of Bohinj, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the Ljubljana bus or train station. Head towards the Bohinj Lake and follow the path along the lake's edge. After about 5 km, you will reach the village of Ribčev Laz. From there, take a local bus to either the bus or train station in Bohinjska Bistrica. After reaching the station, follow the earlier bus or train instructions to get to Ljubljana. This route offers beautiful views of the Julian Alps and is a great way to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
