Bus
From the center of Bohinj, take the local bus to Ljubljana. Buses to Ljubljana depart regularly from the Bohinj bus station. Make sure to check the schedule and buy a ticket at the station or on the bus. Once you arrive in Ljubljana, get off at the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Railway Museum.

Once you arrive at Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana, exit the bus station and head towards Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. Walk straight along the street until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Šubičeva Street, then continue straight until you reach Parmova Street. Turn left onto Parmova Street, and you will find the Railway Museum on your right.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from the main bus station in Ljubljana directly to the Railway Museum. Taxis are available outside the bus station. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
