Getting there

Bus

If you are in Bohinj, you can take the local bus to reach the Vogel Ski Center. Start at the Bohinj Jezero bus stop, which is located near the lake. Check the bus schedule for the line that goes to Vogel. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the Vogel ski area, and from there, it's just a short walk to the ski center entrance.

Walking

For those who prefer to walk, start at the center of Bohinj. Head towards the Bohinj Lake and follow the path along the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the end of the lake where you will see signs indicating the direction to Vogel. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and may take around 25-30 minutes. The path is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Bicycle

If you have rented a bicycle, you can cycle from Bohinj to the Vogel Ski Center. Start at the main square of Bohinj and head towards the lake. Follow the cycling path along the lake’s edge, then turn onto the road leading up to Vogel. The ride is about 3 km and should take approximately 15 minutes. Be cautious of the incline as you approach the ski center.
