    If you are in the center of Bohinj, start by heading southeast on the main road (Trg svobode). Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the fork in the road. Here, keep left to stay on the main road towards Lake Bohinj. Follow the road for another 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. You'll start to see signs directing you to 'Bohinjsko jezero'. As you approach the lake, you will see the stunning views of the water and surrounding mountains.

    From any point in Bohinj, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Look for the bus service that goes to 'Bohinjsko jezero'. Buses typically run every hour or so. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bohinjsko jezero stop, you will be just a short walk from the lake itself. Follow the signposts leading towards the lake, and you will arrive in a few minutes.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Bohinj. Start your ride on the main road towards the lake. The cycling path is well marked and runs parallel to the road. It’s approximately 2.5 kilometers from the center of Bohinj to Lake Bohinj. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes as you pedal your way to the lake, which will be on your right as you approach.
