Walking
If you are staying in the center of Bohinj, start your journey by heading towards the Bohinj Lake (Bohinjsko jezero). Walk along the lake's edge in the direction of Ukanc. This scenic walk will take you about 30 minutes, offering beautiful views. Once you reach the Ukanc area, look for signs indicating the Savica Waterfall trailhead.

From the Bohinj bus station, take a bus heading towards the Ukanc area. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Savica Waterfall' stop. From there, follow the clearly marked trail that leads to the waterfall. The walk to the waterfall from the bus stop is about 20 minutes.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike in Bohinj and head towards Ukanc. Follow the road along the lake until you reach the turnoff for the Savica Waterfall trail. This route is approximately 5 km and will take around 20 minutes by bike. Make sure to lock your bike at the designated area before starting the walk to the waterfall.
