Public Bus
From Bohinj, take the local bus from Bohinj Bus Station to the Ukanc stop. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Make sure to check the bus timetable in advance to plan your visit accordingly.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Ukanc bus stop, you will see signs directing you towards the trailhead for the Seven Lakes Valley. Follow the trail marked with yellow and white signs. The trail starts at the shore of Lake Bohinj. It is a well-marked path leading into the valley. The hike to the first lake takes about 1.5 hours, and you'll continue to follow the signs for the Seven Lakes Valley.
Hiking
As you hike, you will encounter several lakes along the way, each with its own unique beauty. Be prepared for a moderately challenging hike. The total hike duration to see all seven lakes can take a full day, so ensure you have enough time and supplies. Bring water and snacks, and make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear.
