If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Bled from anywhere in Carinthia. From Bled, take the direction towards Podhom. Follow the signs for Vintgar Gorge. You will find parking available near the entrance of the gorge. Please note that there is a parking fee of approximately €3-€5 per vehicle. Once parked, follow the signs to the entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk.
Public Transportation
To reach Vintgar Gorge via public transportation, take a bus from major towns in Carinthia, such as Klagenfurt or Villach, to Bled. From Bled, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to Podhom. The bus ride from Bled to Podhom takes about 10-15 minutes. Check local schedules as bus frequency may vary. Once you arrive in Podhom, follow the signs to Vintgar Gorge, which is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop.
