Getting there

Walking

If you are in the center of Bled, start by heading towards the main road (Cesta Svobode) leading out of Bled. Walk towards the bus station, which is about a 10-minute stroll. Once you reach the bus station, look for a bus heading to Ljubljana. The journey to Ljubljana takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Ljubljana, you will need to find a bus or tram that goes towards Šmartinska c. You can check the local transport schedules at the bus station. The nearest tram stop to your destination is 'Zalog', from which it is a short walk to Sava Sentjakob. Follow Šmartinska c. until you reach the park.

Public Transport

From Bled, take a local bus to Ljubljana. Buses run frequently, and you can catch one from the Bled bus station. After about an hour's ride, you will arrive at the Ljubljana bus station. From there, purchase a ticket for tram line 3 (towards 'Vič') or tram line 6 (towards 'Brod') and board the tram. Get off at the 'Zalog' stop. From there, walk straight for about 5-7 minutes along Šmartinska c. until you reach the entrance of Sava Sentjakob.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Bled to Sava Sentjakob in Ljubljana. Taxis are available near the Bled bus station or can be booked via your hotel. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Make sure to provide the driver with the address: Šmartinska c., 1000 Ljubljana.
