Getting There

• Bus

  From Bohinj, take the bus from the Bohinj Bistrica bus station towards Ljubljana. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit the station and head towards the city center. You can walk or take a local bus. If walking, head straight down Trg Osvobodilne Fronte and continue until you reach the Ljubljanica River. Follow the river to the right until you reach the Triple Bridge.

• Train

  From Bohinj, take the train from the Bohinjska Bistrica train station to Ljubljana. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Ljubljana train station, exit and walk towards the city center. Head straight down Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, then follow the path to the Ljubljanica River. Walk along the river to the right until you reach the iconic Triple Bridge.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Bohinj and take the scenic route to Ljubljana. Follow the bike paths that lead you through beautiful landscapes. The total distance is about 30 kilometers and should take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Ljubljana, head towards the city center and follow the river to find the Triple Bridge.

• Walking

  For an adventurous option, you can hike from Bohinj to Ljubljana, though it is a long journey. Plan for a full day of walking, as it covers about 30 kilometers. Start by following the trails through Triglav National Park towards Bled, then continue to Ljubljana along the marked paths. Once you arrive in the city, make your way to the river and follow it to the right until you arrive at the Triple Bridge.
