If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Muggia in Italy. From the Coastal-Karst region, take the E61 (H4) towards Trieste. Once you reach the outskirts of Trieste, follow the signs for Muggia (SS14). Continue along the coastal road until you reach Muggia. Once in Muggia, navigate to C. Lauri, 8, where Muggia Castle is located. There is street parking available, but make sure to check for any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Trieste to Muggia. Start by taking the bus line 20 from the Trieste central bus station (Autostazione Trieste) towards Muggia. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Muggia, disembark at the 'Muggia - Stazione' stop, which is a short walk from Muggia Castle. Follow the signs towards C. Lauri, 8, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
Walking
If you are already in Muggia and prefer to walk, start at the main square (Piazza Marconi) and head towards the coast. Follow the waterfront promenade until you reach the castle area. The walk offers beautiful views of the sea and is approximately 15-20 minutes from the square to Muggia Castle. Once you reach C. Lauri, 8, you will find the castle entrance.
