Getting there

Car

From Maribor city center, head southeast on Cesta Proletarskih Brigad toward Slovenska Cesta. Continue on this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Slovenj Gradec Road (H4) and follow the signs for Pohorje. After approximately 10 km, take the exit for Maribor Pohorje and follow the signs toward Splav Hlodovec. The destination will be on the right near the Drava River. There is parking available nearby, but it may incur a fee depending on the season.

Start at the Maribor bus station, where you can catch a bus to Maribor Pohorje. Look for bus number 6 or 8, which runs frequently to the Pohorje area. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pohorje stop, exit the bus and walk towards the Drava River. Follow the marked hiking paths toward Splav Hlodovec, which is located approximately 1 km from the bus stop.
