Car
From Gorizia, head southeast on Via Roma toward Via Vittorio Veneto. Continue straight onto Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. After approximately 2 km, cross the border into Slovenia via the 'Hladnik' border crossing. Once in Slovenia, continue onto the A1 highway towards Nova Gorica. Take exit 1 for Nova Gorica and follow signs for the city center. Keep driving until you reach Škrabčeva ulica 1, where the Frančiškanski samostan Kostanjevica is located. There is limited parking available near the monastery.

From Gorizia, go to the main bus station located at Piazza della Transalpina. Take the bus heading to Nova Gorica, which typically runs every 30-60 minutes. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nova Gorica bus station, exit and walk towards the city center. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Škrabčeva ulica 1, where the monastery is located.
