Walking
From the center of Izola, head east along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the main road, where you will see signs for the route to Strunjan. Follow the road signs directing you towards Strunjan. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at the Strunjan Nature Reserve entrance, which will be on your left. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

From Izola, head to the main bus station located in the city center. Check the bus schedule for routes heading towards Portorož. Take a bus that stops at Strunjan. The journey typically takes about 15-20 minutes, and you should disembark at the Strunjan stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of the Nature Reserve, following the signs along the path.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from various locations in Izola. Start by cycling along the coastal path heading east towards Portorož. Look for signs directing to Strunjan. The ride is approximately 5 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes. There are bike racks available at the entrance of the Nature Reserve for secure parking.
