From the center of Izola, head east on Ulica 1. maja toward the main square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ulica Osvobodilne fronte. Turn right onto Ulica Osvobodilne fronte and walk until you reach the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Izola). Here, you will catch a bus to Šmarje. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes.
