Breathtaking Views at the Izola View Point

Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey at the central square in Izola, known as Tito Square. From Tito Square, head southeast on Ulica 1. Maja. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Ulica Izola. Turn right onto Ulica Izola and walk until you reach the waterfront promenade. Keep walking along the promenade until you see the Marina Izola. From the marina, follow the coastal path to the south. This path will lead you towards the residential areas. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Dobrava. Turn left onto Dobrava and proceed up the hill. The View Point will be located at Dobrava 7. Look for signs or local guidance to ensure you find the exact entrance.

• Bicycling

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Tito Square. Head southeast on Ulica 1. Maja, then turn right onto Ulica Izola. Follow the waterfront promenade and cycle towards the Marina Izola. Once you reach the marina, continue along the coastal path to the south. After passing through the residential area, turn left onto Dobrava. Cycle up the hill on Dobrava, and you will find the View Point situated at Dobrava 7. Make sure to watch for pedestrians and other cyclists along the way.

• Public Transport

  While public transport options are limited in Izola, you can take a local bus from the central bus station located near Tito Square. Check the bus schedule for the route heading towards Dobrava. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to Dobrava, disembark and follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Dobrava 7. The View Point is a short walk from the bus stop, located uphill in a residential area.
