From the center of Izola, head east towards the waterfront. Follow the promenade along the sea until you reach the main road (Cesta v Port). Turn left onto Cesta v Port and continue walking until you reach a bus stop. Here, catch the bus heading to Ilirska Bistrica. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off the bus at the Ilirska Bistrica bus station. From there, head north on the main road (Hlavna Cesta) until you reach Bilčeva pot. Turn left onto Bilčeva pot and follow it for about 1km until you reach the Waterfall Sušec.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Izola. Start your ride by heading east along the waterfront promenade. Continue on Cesta v Port, following the coast. After approximately 5km, you will arrive at the main road; take a left turn to head towards Ilirska Bistrica. Keep pedaling straight until you reach the town. Once in Ilirska Bistrica, navigate to Bilčeva pot, turn left, and cycle for about 1km to reach the Waterfall Sušec.
