From the center of Izola, head north on Ulica 1. maja towards the waterfront. Continue along the promenade until you reach the main square (Trg republike). From there, follow the signs leading towards the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Izola). Once at the bus station, take a bus towards Oprtalj. The journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive in Oprtalj, head towards the main road (Ulica Sv. Roka), and you will find the Church of St. Roch within a 5-minute walk uphill.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Izola. Start from the waterfront and bike along the coastal path towards the north. Follow the signs to Oprtalj. The route is scenic and takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Oprtalj, park your bike in a safe location and walk to the Church of St. Roch, which is a short uphill stroll from the main road.
