Walking
From the center of Kamnik, head towards the bus station located at Trg osvoboditve. Walk straight down Koroška cesta for about 1 km until you reach the bus stop named 'Kamnik - Avtobusna postaja.' Take the bus to Ljubljana; the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ljubljana, walk towards the city center along Slovenska cesta. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Trg Republike. Turn left onto Trg Republike. After a few minutes, you will reach Rusjanov trg. The museum is located at Rusjanov trg 7.

Bus
From Kamnik, find your way to the Kamnik bus station located at Trg osvoboditve. Purchase a ticket for a bus to Ljubljana. The buses are frequent, and you can check the schedule at the station. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the city center. Head along Slovenska cesta, straight to Trg Republike, then turn left onto Rusjanov trg. The Muzej za arhitekturo in oblikovanje will be on your left at Rusjanov trg 7.

Although there is no direct train from Kamnik to Ljubljana, you can take a train from the nearest train station, which is in the town of Domžale. To get there, walk from Kamnik to the Domžale train station, which is about 5 km away. You can take a taxi or bike there if available. From Domžale, take a train to Ljubljana. Upon arriving at Ljubljana train station, exit and head towards the center along Slovenska cesta. Continue straight until you reach Trg Republike, then turn left onto Rusjanov trg. The museum is located at Rusjanov trg 7.
