Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Southeast Slovenia, take the A2 motorway towards Ljubljana. The drive from towns like Novo Mesto or Krško will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you approach Ljubljana, follow signs for the city center. Exit at the 'Ljubljana Center' exit. After exiting, follow the signs for 'Krekov trg'. There is limited street parking available nearby, and you may need to pay for parking in designated areas.

• Bus

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from various towns in Southeast Slovenia. Check the schedules at the local bus stations. Buses run frequently from places like Novo Mesto or Brežice to Ljubljana. The bus will drop you off at the Ljubljana Bus Station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). From the bus station, it is a 15-20 minute walk to Krekov trg 10. Simply head west on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, then turn right onto Šubičeva ulica, and follow it until you reach Krekov trg.

• Train

  Alternatively, you can take a train from towns like Novo Mesto or Celje to Ljubljana. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana Train Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Krekov trg 10 is about a 20-minute walk from the train station. Head west on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte, turn right onto Šubičeva ulica, and continue to Krekov trg.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more convenient option, you can use a taxi or rideshare service from any point in Southeast Slovenia to Ljubljana. This would be more expensive, typically costing around €50-€80 depending on your starting point. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand or check the app for estimated costs.
