Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kamnik, head south on the main street (Trg svobode) towards the train station. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Cankarjeva ulica and then continue straight until you reach the foot of the Kamnik Alps. Follow the signs for the hiking trail leading up to the mountains. As you hike, enjoy the scenic views and keep an eye out for directional signs. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint overlooking the town. From here, you will need to backtrack slightly and follow the path that leads you down towards Vodnikov trg.

Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, start at the central bus station in Kamnik. Take bus number 9 towards Ljubljana. After about 20 minutes, disembark at the Vodnikova cesta stop. From here, walk towards the main square, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead. Follow Vodnikova cesta until you reach Vodnikov trg, which will be on your left.
