Public Transport
From Koper city center, head to the Koper bus station (Avtobusna postaja Koper). You can reach the bus station by walking along Titov trg towards the sea, then turning left onto Cankarjeva ulica until you reach the bus station. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading to Sežana. Buses to Sežana are frequent, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Sežana, disembark at the main bus station. From there, walk towards Partizanska cesta, which is a straight road. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Partizanska c. 4, where the Karst Living Museum is located.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from Koper city center and head towards the coast, following the sea promenade until you reach the end. From there, you can take a scenic route through the hills towards Sežana. It is a longer route, approximately 15 km, and will take you around 3-4 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, carry water, and enjoy the beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Sežana, follow the directions mentioned above to reach the museum.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare app. You can request a ride from your location in Koper directly to the Karst Living Museum at Partizanska c. 4, Sežana. The drive takes about 25-30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the address with the driver to ensure you arrive at the correct destination.
