    From the main square in Koper, Trg Brolo, head south towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the promenade along the sea. Keep walking along the promenade until you reach the Koper port area. Look for signs directing you to Trieste or Riva Nazario Sauro. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the border of the port area, you will see the ferry terminal on your left. Cross the road towards the terminal entrance, and from there, you can board the ferry to Trieste.

    Make your way to the Koper bus station, located near the city center. From Trg Brolo, walk north towards Ulica Lojzeta Hrovata and turn left. The bus station will be on your right. Look for a bus heading to Trieste; these buses run frequently. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and walk straight towards Piazza della Libertà. From there, head towards Riva Nazario Sauro, which is about a 15-minute walk along the waterfront.
