From the main square in Koper, Trg Brolo, head south towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the promenade along the sea. Keep walking along the promenade until you reach the Koper port area. Look for signs directing you to Trieste or Riva Nazario Sauro. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the border of the port area, you will see the ferry terminal on your left. Cross the road towards the terminal entrance, and from there, you can board the ferry to Trieste.
