From Koper city center, head to the bus station located at Kolodvorska ulica. You can catch a bus heading towards Črni Kal. The bus number you need is 28. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest times. Once you board, stay on the bus for approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Črni Kal' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 km uphill to reach Socerb Castle. Follow the signs for 'Socerb' and enjoy the scenic walk.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Koper, start at the main square (Titov trg) and head towards the waterfront. Walk along the promenade until you reach the end and take a left on the road leading out of the city (Obala). Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction for Črni Kal. Take the path leading up the hill towards Socerb. Be prepared for a steep hike; it should take around 1 hour to reach the castle.
Taxi
If you wish for a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi from Koper to Socerb Castle. You can request a taxi from your hotel or call one of the local taxi services. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Make sure to provide the driver with the address 'Socerb 7, 6275 Črni Kal'.
