    From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Gorizia'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Trieste - Piazza della Libertà' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Arco di Riccardo. Head southeast on Via della Libertà, then turn left onto Via San Nicolò. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Barbacan, where the Arco di Riccardo is located.

    Walk to the Nova Gorica train station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Take a train towards Trieste Centrale. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Trieste Centrale, exit the station and head east on Piazza della Libertà. Continue walking straight for about 700 meters. Turn left onto Via San Nicolò, and you will reach Piazza del Barbacan and the Arco di Riccardo.
