Getting There

Walking
From the main square in Kranjska Gora (Trg Kranjska Gora), head south towards the intersection and take the road leading to the right (Cesta Borovska). Continue walking straight until you reach the bus stop at the end of the road. Here, catch a bus heading to Bled. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bled bus station, walk straight down the main road (Cesta Svobode) for about 10 minutes until you see the lake on your left. Continue walking along the lake until you reach the path leading up to Bled Castle, which is signposted.

Bus
From the Kranjska Gora bus station, board the bus that goes to Bled. Ensure that the bus number is confirmed with the schedule posted at the station. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Bled bus station, exit and walk straight down Cesta Svobode for about 10 minutes until you reach the lake. Follow the signs towards Bled Castle, which is situated on a hill above the lake.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kranjska Gora. Head south on Cesta Borovska, which turns into the main bike path leading to Bled. Follow the path which is well marked and offers beautiful scenic views. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon reaching Bled, park your bicycle at a designated area and walk towards the lake. Follow the signs leading up to Bled Castle. The climb will take about 15-20 minutes.
