From Kranjska Gora, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the center of town. Look for buses heading towards Bovec or Soča. Check the bus schedule for departure times. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride through the Julian Alps. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Soča' bus stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Great Soča Gorge. Follow the signs leading to the gorge, which will guide you along the river bank.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Kranjska Gora and head towards the direction of the river Soča. You can follow the signs to the nearby trails. The walk is approximately 15 kilometers and will take you around 3-4 hours, depending on your pace. The route will offer stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Once you reach the Soča river, follow the path along the river until you reach the Great Soča Gorge.

Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle in Kranjska Gora. From the town center, take the cycling path that leads towards the Soča river. This route is approximately 15 kilometers long and will take around 1-2 hours, depending on your cycling speed. The path is scenic and follows the river, leading directly to the area of Great Soča Gorge. Once you arrive at the gorge, there are designated parking areas for bicycles.
