Public Bus
From Kranjska Gora, head to the main bus station located in the center of town, near the Tourist Information Center. Look for the bus that is headed towards Bohinjska Bistrica or Lake Bohinj. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bohinj bus stop, follow the signs that direct you towards Lake Bohinj, which is about a 15-20 minute walk. You will see the lake as you approach, and it should be a picturesque walk down to the water's edge.
Walking
If you prefer walking, you can take the scenic route from Kranjska Gora to Lake Bohinj. Start at the center of Kranjska Gora and head towards the direction of the mountains. Follow the signs towards the Vršič Pass, which will lead you to a trail. This is a longer trek (about 3-4 hours), so make sure to wear good walking shoes and carry water. Along the way, enjoy the stunning mountain views and natural scenery. Once you reach Lake Bohinj, you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active option, consider renting a bicycle in Kranjska Gora. There are several rental shops in town. Once you have your bike, head towards the bike path that leads out of Kranjska Gora.
