    From Kranjska Gora, take the local bus service towards Log pod Mangartom. Buses typically depart from the main bus stop located in the center of Kranjska Gora. Once you arrive at Log pod Mangartom, you will need to walk towards Strmec na Predelu. Follow the signs directing you to Mangart saddle, which is about a 3 km walk uphill. The path will be well-marked.

    If you prefer to walk from Kranjska Gora to the Mangart saddle, start at the center of Kranjska Gora and head towards the main road (Triglavska cesta). Follow this road south towards Log pod Mangartom. After about 4 km, you will reach the village of Log pod Mangartom. From there, continue to Strmec na Predelu (about 3 km), where you will find signs for the Mangart saddle. The total walking distance is approximately 7 km, which may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.

  • Bicycle Rental

    For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle in Kranjska Gora. There are several rental shops in town.
