Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the central square in Kranjska Gora, Trg pred Šolo. From the square, head south towards the main road, Gregorčičeva ulica. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road towards Podkoren. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a bus stop on your right indicating Klagenfurt. Here you can catch a bus to Klagenfurt am Wörthersee.

• Bus

  Once you are on the bus from Kranjska Gora to Klagenfurt, stay on until you reach the Klagenfurt bus station. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Klagenfurt bus station, exit the bus and head towards the exit that leads to the main street. From the bus station, you can either walk or take a local tram to your destination.

• Tram/Walking

  If you choose to walk from the bus station, head southeast on Bahnhofstraße for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Lorettoweg. Turn left onto Lorettoweg and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will find Maria Loreto Castle at Lorettoweg 52, on your right. Alternatively, you can take a tram from the bus station to the nearest tram stop to Lorettoweg, and then walk the remaining distance.
